The Sleepover

3 kids, 2 beds, and 1 house, and a sleep over with a a friend. Three kids because of Jason's brother who claimed himself Communist, Jason, and me, Inwoo. This is a sleep over I will never forger because it was the worst sleep over ever.

7:00, I was at Jason's doorway. Just in time for dinner. Sitting awkwardly at the dinner table, getting my share. I couldn't wait till the fun started. 7:30, we are playing games. 8:00, still being addicts. 8:30, we get bored. 9:00, we go out and march around the compound with broken BB guns. 9:30, we're back. 10:00, we make a fort. 10:30, we jump down a floor to land on a mattress. 11:00, We use the computer, once again. 12:00, we stop, change clothes, take showers, and brush teeth. 1:00, Jason goes to bed.

1:30 A.M, Robert is wide awake shouting. With only 2 beds, I must sleep on the floor. 1:45, Jason's mom comes in and shouts at us. 2:00, Jason shouts and beats Robert up so he shuts up. 4:00, barley a wink of sleep. I walked down stairs. 4:15, on a low quality mattress, I fall asleep with no blanket with the air conditioning on high. 4:30, I wake up, wearing my day clothes, both pants and shirt a a pair of pajamas is a blanket. 6:15, I wake up. I need to get more sleep. 6:30, after 15 minutes of lying down, I head up to wake Jason up. With out success, I go down, take Jason's laptop, and play games.

7:00, Jason's awake. We play games together. 7:30, everyone is awake and changed. We eat breakfast. 8:00, Jason's family heads to church as they drop me off. 8:10. I go transform in to my boxers and go into my soft, comfortable bed. 10:10, I wake up when my dad tells me how long I was sleeping. My life goes back to normal. I play Wii, computer, and eat lunch. I continue until my dad tells me to do some math and reading. I listen and do so. A day wasted is a day well spent.

When The Relatives Came

Every single year until my grandparents leave this world, they visit me. The first thing they say when they see me is "My my, how much you've grown!"But you wouldn't understand so let me begin from the beginning. My name is Inwoo and I'm going to talk about a time my grandparents came.

I saw my grandpa pick up a big bag of luggage. They were going to stay at my house for 1entire week! "Oh boy, this was going to be a hard week." I silently thought. The first thing they did was tell me how much I've grown and then hugged me. Then they talked with mom& dad about the trip.

We packed the luggage. We called the taxi at 5:30 and it took 30 minutes to come. Enough for breakfast. We left. It took about an hour to get to the airport. Of course, we went on Korean Air. And the taxi driver couldn't understand us so we called you. And it took another hour to get here! 1 hours difference earlier in Korea. That's my grandparents travel story.

I had to show him my room. Up in the attic there was a couch. I brought my game boy up, and hid there. Sometimes playing up to 5 hours a day. Until grandpa found me. Reading the Korean comic, I said "Can I play now?" My grandpa loved me and said yes and let me be a spoiled child (Tee-hee.) On the computer, I played a variety of different games.

Some how, the week wasn't AS miserable as others. Actually, I sort of enjoyed it. Base ball with grandpa and dad, Sit outside and read with grandpa, and go in the car talking cheerfully in a car. It wasn't that bad. But the week was gone and life went on. But it was a week never to be forgotten.

Trespassing

Silently, walked, down the worn concrete road, watching out for dogs, the electronic buzz, making me cautious. Then, all the sudden, a dark brown colored dog runs at us, but halting. Daniel, leader of operation Sewage Invasion say "It's either scared or not allowed to go over here." But as we advance, it backs away. We hear some staff, talking in Cantonese about all the barking. We run out, almost tripping, if we tripped, we would fly forward, getting injured badly. Running out, we couldn't go back in, for fear they would close the gates, with us locked inside. But we had an idea. Daniel said "If we're locked, we'll say "We were wondering what was here, so we went inside, we were just curious." So in we go. The four of us pack together, armed with bb guns. Why couldn't we just climb over the walls?

1. They were metal, solid nets with tiny holes impossible to put your feet in, not loose metal nets.
2. Even if we could climb over, there was barbed wire on top of the fence.

The decision was made, we would enter the water station, once we got our gas, guns, and bullets.

Stalking inside, we looked out. There were large, man made caves, dog houses, and offices. There was a man, standing there. Being cautious, thinking he was a security guard, we walked over, lied down, and crawled in to the bushes. Getting out binoculars, we looked. But Daniel however, was looking through a BB gun sniper scope. He saw the man, what looked like talking to himself, but talking to himself. He was actually talking through a microphone on his shirt and also a small head phone on his head.

He got into a bus, with a short man in a suit following him in. They got out, leaving us, almost alone. There were the dogs who were scared, and the guy in the office. They both were busy. Running while crouching silently is not an easy task. In the end, we made. We were going in the direction of the buzz. It grew so loud, we had to shout. No one was here. Walking on the catwalk, we looked down. a dozen tanks stood there with an open top. One held water, another dirty water, trash, and then there was the human dung. disgusting the stench!!! Then we heard people shouting in Cantonese. Alarmed, but not loud, we did not run, we walked. As soon as the trees blocked the view of the building, we ran. The gates were closing, no they weren't, I was hallucinating.

The gate was closing as soon as we got out. And after all this, Daniel said "Hey, wanna do that again next week?" We all sounded reasonable. This was trespassing, but it was fun when not caught.

Pacific Place

This building, is a great place to buy souvenirs! It has almost any disc at Hong Kong records. You name it. My favorite X-box 360 games are Gears of War 1&2, Call of Duty 5, Fallout 2, and Left 4 Dead. If you're hungry, try Dna Ryan's Chicago Grill, or if you're looking for the Chinese things, might as well go to Peking Garden. If you ever need to go buy things like water, food, and other things, go to Great, it is the absolute the best grocery shop. There's also a good luxury shop, Lane Crawford. If youre going to go do sports, gigasports is the shop for you! Click here to go find more.

Bank of China

This building, having being a very tall building as you can see, is very important. This is the second largest commercial banking group in Hong Kong. It looms over the shorter buildings. I, having used to live close to that building, had always went there to go to the Pacific Place.
I was lost almost here. It is a very large building, but before, when I was younger, I had taken the wrong turns because I was playing the "step in the tiles" game. Looking at the floor, I was heading the right way, they take a sudden turn,go left, and I continue going right, and I get lost. But then my sister So Jung realizes I'm not there, and so she shouts "Inwoo!" and I quickly realize there is no voices around me, so I look around, and see my sister, waving her arms. Here's the funniest part. The shiny, smooth, flat marble surface I'm running on towards her. Then, I slip and trip. All the adults near by look at me and say are you okay. I nod and keep going. It's funny how people like me can trip when there's nothing there. In fact, I still do, when I'm 10 in 2009. But it isn't occasional, it's rare. This too, if someone who's been to Hong Kong see's this building in a picture, they would immediately recognize it as the Bank Of China.

Redhill

If you're planing to stay here, a good place is Red Hill. It is close to HKIS Ups and Ms, and very close to HS. This is the ideal place for HKIS students. The houses on the top is my house. The house inside picture is house 6.

My neighbor hood is great for playing outside. On a top of a hill with a playground, if you think, you can think of a lot of things. Me and my pals even go out to the woods, climb tree's make bases, play bb gun wars, make bonfires, run around and jump of things. It's crazy, but fun. One time, the oldest, a 9th grader named ****** had a tin bottle full of lighter fluid and burned our shoes. We burned a lot of other stuff too. There's another time all 8 of us climbed onto the guard house roof, and made wierd noises until the guard saw us. Once, ****** and ***** told me they flicked the catapillar off my back, but it was still there, then it crawled up, up and up, into my neckand it was itchy so I scratch my neck, and there's a catpillar on my pinkie. All the black hairs hurt and itch,I fling the caterpillar of and scream and run around in circles. It can be a great place, but summer's a killer. With the humidity, the only place to play is inside the pool, or in the houses. And now, Daniel doesn't come out to play alot so playing outside is over.

Ifc

This building is the Ifc mall. It is the trade mark of Hong Kong. It is one of the tallest buildings in the world. The miniature version of the towering giant on the right is Ifc 1. The taller one is Ifc 2. Ifc stands for

International

Financial

Center.

The first day's I came to HK, the IFC was one of the first buildings I visited. My mom told me it would be like a famous mall in
Seoul, Korea. WRONG! It was cleaner, bigger, straighter, and quieter. I was shocked, I thought "Is this actually what a mall looks like?" My mom told me "Lotte is suitable for younger children, this place is more business." Just then, I saw a American family walk by with a young child my age, staring at me as if I were an alien. I stared back angrily. He turned away. I backed away but my mom was gone. I was lost. I went looking as fast as I could for an information stand. I found one. But I found a stand, and spoke Korean. Then I remembered, this was Hong Kong. I said very simply "I lost." Luckily, Hong Kong was populated with Koreans, and it also happened a Korean lady was walking past. She immediatley took action. In english, she said "I speak korean, please let me use the microphone." I told the lady my mother's name. I thanked her and just as she left, my mom came. She said "Where were you?" I told her "I was here, and a lady helped me." I never saw that lady again.

Building of The Mountains

The Peak, is a district. It's a tourist attraction. There are 2 ways to get there. Either hike up the road, or take the tram. The road is an ordinary, steep road. But the tram, is unique.

There is also the banana building. It is a tourist attraction.

Here is a view from the Peak. It's very high as you can see, it's very high. The Building you see the most is the IFC mall.

I used to live in this great mountain. I hiked up with my parents, lagging behind as I was 7. We reached there after what felt like eternity. We had entered. We ate lunch at the restaurant we always went to. (I forgot the name.) The girls went shopping, I went home with dad. As we were going, I passed a video game shop and I stopped, but my dad didn't notice me. My dad was already gone. It was after my dad left I noticed he wasn't there. I remembered what my mom said if I got lost, don't move from where I was. After eternity, my mom passed saying "What are you doing here? Wheres dad?" I told her I got lost, and I went back home. I thought "I will never get lost there, ever again!" But I soon forgot that and got lost again.
